Etchings for Sale

  • Q. How do I advertise an etching I wish to sell?

The process is very easy. Access the 'Etchings for Sale' section from the home page and click on the button titled 'Advertise'. You need to complete all of the fields in the listing form, for both the picture you wish to sell and for your own contact details. To upload a picture of the etching, click the browse button which will allow you to select the relevent picture file from your computer. Please make sure that any pictures you upload are good quality, so potential purchasers can see the image clearly. Pictures should be no larger than (2MB) and MUST have a title.

Once you have completed all of the required information, click 'pay button' and you will be directed to PayPal to pay a small fee for listing your picture. Once this is paid, the etching will be listed on the site, together with the contact details that you have supplied and the relevent guide price. Potential buyers will contact you directly and all arrangements for sale or purchase will be between you and your buyer directly.

When you have sold the picture, please email us to let us know and we will remove the picture and your information from the site. if you do not do this, you may continue to get enquiries from potential purchasers.

Please note there will be a small delay between submitting your picture and its being visible on the site. This is so the picture and information can be checked before listing.

  • Q. Can I advertise other types of artwork to sell?

This site only deals with etchings, so any etchings can be listed for sale. We do not accept listings for other artworks, oils, watercolours, limited edition prints and so on.

The exception is for any pictures by Albany Howarth, and so any of his watercolours WOULD be accepted for listing.

  • Q. How do I buy an etching listed for sale?

If you see an etching advertised on the site that you wish to purchase, follow the directions to contact the seller included with the advert. We have no direct involvement with the sale or purchase of etchings, other than to accept them for listing. The terms of any transactions are for you to agree between the seller and yourself, and we can accept no liability for any transactions which fail to complete for any reason, as we have no involvement with or control over the transaction process.
